Hi guys i need help in building a gaming pc. i would like it to run games like Phantasy Star Online 2, dota 2, LOL, Final Fantasy XIV Online in high settings if possible.

Budget Range: 1100

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies)

Are you buying a monitor: Not atm

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (Fuwell)

Location: City, State/Region, Country - SG

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (Prefer Intel)

Overclocking:Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1440x900

Additional Info: (If possible please recommend a shop that can help me put all the parts together for free )

Standard recommendation: PC Themes as you are a newbie.

You may also want to try mynextcom. Several people had been giving good reviews about their service. I personally notice them for their free delivery service, and quite a number of their prices for parts listed online are competitive

Total $1106 no ODD. If you wanna drop the idea of having an SSD then you can get a slightly better gfx card. Buy from tradepac and DIY yourself.

Prices are still cheaper in Tradepac over PC themes. But if you Kiasi type then go for PC themes but be prepared to pay slightly more.

Fuwell is okay lah, I just don't like how their staffs keep following behind us like we are thieves.

Fuwell staff itself can kill you. Keep recommending higher and higher. Those whom are new confirm too psycho to get higher stuffs.

I always buy from fuwell back 4 to 5 years ago. Dunnoe that fuwell now becomes chop carrot shop. Went to tradepac ever since.

fuwell mainly sell internet related stuff ma not meh

anyway most of the game u play are mmo/moba games
dunnid such a good gfx for max setting

the gfx roy suggested can last u at least 3 more yrs of mmo

get the rig from pc theme and ask them build it for u bah since udk anything
tradepac also for newcomer

Is what's the difference having ssd and without it? I mean when playing games does it make any difference?

I think can take out the ssd and up the gpu to a 760 or a 7970 bah, ssd basically is a faster storage drive. Your loading time is decreased. If you put OS into it, your boot time faster. Depend on what games you play, If those not very timing-demanding one then can just go with a 2TB HDD

Maybe can still find people that build PC as a hobby. They might build for you free just to gain experience. I'm still a noob, so I don't dare to build for you, otherwise I will be more than happy to help. Hahaha

Last I checked with PC Themes, $10 for assembly and $10 for software installation.

Usually $10. Or FOC if you bargain. Tradepac and PC Themes can bargain for free assembly. Mynextcom got free home delivery, no idea about assembly charge though
