really doesn't like its been a long time since i bought my LGA1155 (H67) board from Fuwell and when it finally gave way last week, I went around looking for a replacement.

to my surprise, no one in SLS was carrying any of the H67/H77/Z77 boards anymore. called all the major distributors Ban Leong/AverTek/Corbell/Convergent and all told me there are no more such boards around, even refurbished ones.

I recalled that the during the C2Q period, Q6600 boards were still very much around even when the world is alrdy talking i3/i5/i7 over coffee. technology really got move so fast meh?

and to add salt to the wound, unfortunately, warranty period was just over and now I'm stuck; I'm not willing to stop using my i5 2500k chip and neither am I willing to fork out for a brand new bundle.

what are my alternatives if I want to keep my i5 gen3 chip??

I have been replacing my spoilt 1155 boards with those from taobao. So far so good.

Anyway I have one H61 to let go, PM me to discuss if you want.

Good luck with your search, i was looking for one too and its very rare.

If i find one, the price is usually 120-160.

In contrast, back in 2013, when I got my 2nd hand Asus P8P67 Evo the seller only asked for 120 and i sold my roughly 1.5mth old Biostar board 1155 for 80 or 100 thereabouts.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful hints! I appreciate it.

For motherboards, I usually prefer to get new ones than 2nd hand ones cos I view them as a type of wear and tear equipment. Same for graphics. Unless the board is a very cheap one, or I intend to upgrade in the near future. Just a personal thing.

Hence, I decided to get an itx H61 instead from newegg. Not exactly cheap, neither is it what I exactly wanted, but it was what's available at the time of despair.

Just saw the carousell ad from convergent. Sibei Sian lor, I called and they say no more 1155 boards liao. Arrgh
