Hi would like to check if 120gb is enough is for OS/Program/Utorrent? will be getting a samsung evo.

I would be getting a WD red/Green 2TB for my other storge.

can the utorrent temp file and downloading shift to the HDD so it will not affect the SSD?

will not be gaming on this PC, just torrenting and net surfing

120GB is enough for OS and software programs.

You can save the downloaded torrent and files on your 2TB HDD.

Yes but with all OS files, probably will take up 40-50gb of space. But you can find tips to freed up space that is unnecessary for ssd. Like indexing of files or cache data or restore function of win7

Theoritically 120gb is sufficient. But just in case you are a gamer whom likes to store games inside SSD to take advantage of the load time and also have lots of game title to play then best sweet spot will be the 250gb.

I have a SSD installed but i do install game on my SDD, mainly due to the PE Cycle.

Installed on my HDD. Anyway i do not think that SSD makes a huge difference in normal game player other then the loading portion. But normally you should be fully loaded before the games even starts even on HDD.

Game play it'self offer not much of a difference.

says the 1 who bought 900D :vijayadmin:

if u consider games like BF4 etc
250gb a few game full liao...

Never ending race of the most elite... the dual SLI on GTX-Titan will be bested by the tri-SLI on GTX-Titan, followed by quad-SLI on 780Ti, etc. etc. etc.

Just be happy with your rig purchase, as long as it serves your purposes fine :)

If you try run GTA4 on HDD or SSD you will feel the difference.

loading faster than slower is always better
when i play bf3 with hdd last time when it just came out
i always start 10-20sec later than other player
that gives me a big disadvantage
enemies has already taken up offensive position and ready to shoot me down before i even reach the spot i want

same for many other games~

which meant utorrent software install in SSD, but download/temp/.torrent file setting in directory set to HDD?

That is what I do.

There is actually a difference for some games due to fast loading.

SSD will help in certain games like MMORPG and FPS fames.

Games like BF3/4, Diablo3, Hitman and Tombraider will take advantages of the load time.

Faster load time give you the upper hand. Games like MMORPG that goes thru portals and map loadings will highly benefit from fast loading. Even games like Diablo. In inferno lv9 or 10 it is between life and death for that split secs if you stuck at portal and mobs whacking you while you see nothing but black screen. And the next thing you know, you are lying on the floor with the tombstone.

Games like strategy base, SC2, WC3, Dota2, C&C. All this do not benefit from SSD. This games have to wait for your opponent to load together and finish loading. Once done then everybody can start together.

The most people Kpkb say got slow loader lol.

120GB is def. enough for standard OS/some programs/utorrent. Just redirect your utorrent download directory to your 1/2/3/4TB HDD. Games... hokay I not so elite when compare with many of the guys here but in my case they're redirected to my 1TB Velociraptor.
