Where to buy Dell Latitude laptops? Couldn't find the option to buy online. Did not see the models in the Fun and Dell shop also.

U need to call dell hotline and they will get their sales to email you a quotation on the model that you requested.

The latitude series models are very expensive. The very chio e7370 is almost sgd3k

I think is CA. Not very sure. The gold colour one

any comment on the reliability. it looks good but seems like Asus doesn't has the strong reputation of durability compared to Dell and ThinkPad. quite scare to buy, else its quite tempting for the ZenBook Series.

thanks. my ideapad worth $1300 lasted me from 2011 to now still working (with 1 break down in 2013), thus I quite particular about durability.

now im looking for a 13-14 inch for both using at home connected via a Dell Screen also the mobility of bring around.

So what are your requirements exactly apart from the HDMI port?

i5 for Basic Usage, 8GB RAM, Hardisk no particular ones as I store very less staffs, 13-14 inch, Good Battery, Non-Touch-Screen, the rest no particular requirement as I just use for documents, surfing and youtube watching.

There's no Classic anywhere.

Even on the laptop itself it just says "13".

As for build quality, you really have to go compare physically because they look very similar. I also didn't believe until I compared the T460 and the 13 side by side. One is built like a tank the other is just a consumer laptop in matte black. :s13:

I'm kinda out of touch with laptops.

Since Funan is still open till end June (???), which shop do I visit? I'll drop by this week to check out the X260 and TP13.

Your requirements not very high. I would suggest you address your HDMI requirement with a USB to HDMI converter then you have more options. I think almost all laptops have USB on the left for right-handed mouse usage so that should be no problem.

I can't remember which store exactly. Look for the bigger stores just selling lenovo. But I remember the X260 not easy to find a display set. Most display X250 only.

I bought x260 but it arrived with keyboard and software issues. Quite disappointed and returned it. Tonighy got time i will post photo of the faulty keyboard.

Currently considering dell latitude e7470 or thinkpad x1c.

I was thinking of buying the 305 but the lack of backlit keyboard made me rethink. Waiting for the newly announced 306 which has backlit but have no idea when its coming..

Thanks ! would the quality be lessen via a USB to HDMI converter, compared to a HDMI connect ?

why is the backlit keyboard important to you?

I don't like this feature especially from the side-view.

I thought USB to HDMI converters essentially involve an additional display adaptor to do the conversion?

IMO getting laptop with full size HDMI port shouldn't be that hard as quite a few laptops seem to come with it these days in both 13" laptops and larger.
