Looking for a 15.6" notebook below $1,000 for home use.

1) 8th Gen CPU
2) 8GB Ram
3) FHD display

Me too, think for very long liao. :s13:

1) Dell Inspiron 15 5570 @ $899 now, it was $811 during the CNY promo

2) Lenovo 320s @ $799 @ ITshow Courts but only 4gb Ram (Not sure will they upgrade to 8gb FOC or upgrade at a small fee)

I am more incline toward Dell, Dell display seems to be better than Lenovo (side by side comparison) and Dell have backlit keyboard if i not wrong.

I was also consider there 2. But on the reviews from their website for Dell Inspiron 15 5570 were not so good.

Hello I am not sure if you would be keen in

i7 5th/7th CPU. The specs are better than the 8th Gen i3/i5 CPU.
There is 8GB Ram and FHD display. However, the price would be around 1.2k odd. One belong to my father and another to my mother who are both technonewbs. Thus, resulting in it being in very prestine condition.

Forgot to mention, was quoted $120 to upgrade the ram to 1x 8gb. Not sure if this price is OK. :)
