$1500 BF4 Small Form Build?

My clevo lappy died on me and have been out of touch from desktop hardwares for a very long time, I got a budget of $1500 with or without a LCD, and hopefully could get a decent mATX build to run BF4 High.

Total $1500 buy at tradepac except for monitor and diy.

Get the sg02 chassis. It has a small form factor size but able to accommodate the size of an matx board. This allows you to future expand it if you decide to add a sound card in the future etc. The chassis supports up to 368mm long gfx card. Good enough to support up to a titan card.

Recommend you a ref card gpu. This is to allow the hot air to be pushed out of the chassis instead of being trapped in a small chassis.

Lastly go haswell for that budget.

Came across this build and I'm not sure how people would rate this?

It is pretty useless to put in the mini version of the GTX 670 inside the prodigy (considering it can take on much longer GPUs).

Since an SFF builder is looking for greatest space efficiency, a short GTX 670 is more suited for cases that can't take too long GPUs like the Q11 and SG05.

I think before you decide what type of SFF case or whether you should go SFF in the first place, you should tell us if you intend to buy SFF for saving desk space/shoving it in some small nook. Because there is a possibility that a short case with a big footprint may be less space efficient than a large case with a smaller footprint.

Thank you all for a great list! I'm planning a Haswell build, but like Lippyt says I'm now actually contemplating if mATX is necessary for me, I will need a Wifi card as my Fibre point is not in the room and most likely getting the Asus AC66u modem, I'm not sure if the mATX can plug the receiver in.

If maintaining most specs like royfrosty's suggestion but with a normal size mb, what mb and case can I get which is still quite small in size put still offer a good airflow? I'm quite flexible to push the budget a little higher if needed, appreciate all bro's help!

Then get whatever I posted with a WiFi card. Yes the matx board I recommend can be put into the sg02. It is small and compact in size. Almost equivalent to a itx chassis.

Hi royfrosty, if I would get a full size mb and requires AC Wifi included at least, I suppose a Asus z87 would be the choice to go? (i'm confuse with the many version of z87 asus have)

Ive look into the fractal design arc midi and sharktoon t28 which they both look and arrange similar, are there any other case to recommend if these 2 are not available?
