a sudden thought came to mind.

If TS is able to find all the items he need on qoo10 and total cost come to $1.5k

Then perhaps can set up 3 different account and "split purchase" with the 3 accounts hecan get a total of $300 off his $1.5k purchase

:o:o:s13::s13:

Ha, worth a try! Might have some kind of check with the same shipping address being used, wonder if anyone else tried this before?

Also this got nothing to do with the thread, but this TS is a grrl just so happens ha!

order from same shop or all from SLS, opt for self collection, save you shipping fee x3.

Plus you can check before leaving :)

Thanks, def gonna double-check the vendor. Well I got coupons spread on 3 accounts, now to see how much my grand total if from qoo10!

These coupons can stack, or must pick one to apply (like flat $20 off can't combine with the $100 off $500 purchases)?

cart coupons cant stack, but item coupons can(before adding to cart). can buy gift cards also(3% off $100).

***Read up on qoo10 thread before you buy gift card.

Here's one item you can consider for one of your qoo10 account -

Zotac 970 + Gskill ripjaw DDR4 2400(8GBx2) @ S$628.00 b4 coupon

bundle price is already better then your
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card ($580.00)
Memory: Kingston FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($94.00)

I actually changed the list around a bit after going for a Zotac:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($276.00)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X 82.9 CFM CPU Cooler ($70.00)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($165.00)
Memory: Kingston 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($77.00)
Storage: Transcend SSD370 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $95.00)
Storage: Western Digital RE4 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($77.00)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card ($475.00)
Case: Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($72.00)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($105.00)

Total: $1412 (TradePac prices + some guesstimates)

Gotta do another spreadsheet to put together different combos (like getting Zotac GTX 970 but Kingston 8GB RAM might still be cheaper than the GSKILL RAM combo).

If buy seperate, and use $100 off $500 coupon on the zotac 970, it will be cheaper and current bundle cant use coupons at all.

Are all bundles confirmed can't use any coupons on? Will be easier to go through my list if true, then I focus on individual parts :s12:

IMO can shave off the $70 for CPU cooler, just use stock cooler. Skylake draws less power than Haswell and my setup uses stock cooler also no problem even though my desktop is usually on 24/7. Don't foresee any overheating issues for you

EDIT: ok nvm I realized the i5-6500 doesn't come with stock cooler, I'd just go for the cheapest compatible one I can find. Leaving my comments above intact so I will be reminded to research before making stupid comments

Yeah you're right, forgotten that coupon can't be applied for items on timesale & daily deals

Not all, just those on timesale & daily deals.

Okay this list is all purely from parts available from Qoo10.sg, and from one store (Video-Pro cause...honestly no one else had in-store pickup)

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($325.00)
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 45.0 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler ($49.00)
Motherboard: MSI B150M MORTAR Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($189.00)
Memory: Kingston 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($88.00)
Storage: Transcend SSD370 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $95.00)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($85.00)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card ($503.00)
Power Supply: Corsair CSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($139.00)
Monitor: AOC i2267Fw 60Hz 22.0" Monitor ($215.00)
Total: $1688.00

I have 3 accounts with the $100 CNY coupon, with creative accounting/carting, can use all 3 so grand total: $1388

Only things missing are picking a case (prolly getting N200 from elsewhere), and a keyboard (want to test several first).

Uh, any parts REALLY bad? Not sure if the Mortar MOBO is a good pick, especially instead of the GIGABYTE B150M-D3H. I might go to TradePac and get their GIGABYTE B150M-D3H ($164) +i5 6500 combo because it's only $30 more.

Edit: Gonna do more creative accounting. Cut out the parts that Video-Pro overcharges until the discount is meh. Combine that with parts from my SLS trip.

can skip this item 1st and use the stock fan?
take note that if you never buy the full system from tradepac, they mostly properly will not follow the price in the pricelist, they will charge a bit higher $10-30

can choose not to get the heatsink to lower costs, otherwise everything is good. tradepac usually increase price if you buy only one or 2 parts, price list not reliable. bizgram qoo10 also has store pickup, can go check.

nice.
considering your initial budget of $1.5k excludes monitor & a ssd, now you can get all with just $1.4k minus the case

curious to know how much lower you can get for all these

Thought you mentioned in an earlier post that the i5-6500 doesn't have a stock fan, so I thought had to get one :s12:

Now only scared that some conditions in Qoo10 says one buyer can't use multiple email accounts to use multiple coupons like this heh.

Edit: Aaah Video-Pro just took down their single listing of the Zotac GTX 970 :/

Left the CNY-Bundle with the GSKILL 16GB of RAM. Must be to push people to buy the bundle >_>

That was the other guy, i was telling him that only the k-series skylake cpus dont include a heatsink:s22:. Not sure about qoo10, if you're scared, just get $500 of parts and use 1 coupon, than get everything else on lazada? No gtx 970 can either get 970 from lazada, or go for an r9 390 for $509 at cybermind

I'm more concerned the Video-Pro guys get pissy when I come in with 3 separate orders lol.

Also with the Zotac GTX 970 single listing gone, is either go for Palit Jetstream, or the MSI Model. Can't use the $100 coupon with the CNY bundle so can't consider it.

Edit: Just a personal preference thing, I tend to stick with NVIDIA cause they put out their drivers quicker.

EDIT2: OH HO! Nevermind I FOUND where they hid the Zotac. Sneaky...

Now the lousy AMD catalyst control centre replace with radeon crimson software, quite decent actually. The 390 also dosen't suffer from the 970's 3.5gb vram issue(mostly relevant with 1440p and 4k. If you're just gonna stay with 1080p, the 970 is fine, but if you're gonna go 1440p/4k, will be better for you to go 390. If you scared, maybe can get 2 of your friends(or your boyfriend and his friend:s8:) and each take turn to collect 1 by 1 at videopro:s8:?

Yeah I heard about the issue, but is true, at 1080p they're both pretty much the same. Honestly if I ever want to try 4k gaming, I'd probably start thinking about getting Titans heh.

I'm bringing my older bro along, he knows SLS better than me, and he bought from Video-Pro before, but quite a few years back.
