Killing tumors with extreme cold temperatures (down to -160°C)—a procedure known as Cryosurgical Ablation (CSA) or cryoablation—is a cornerstone treatment pioneered globally by institutions like the Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital. The technique uses an advanced argon-helium gas system delivered via needle-thin probes to rapidly freeze and thaw cancer cells, destroying the tumor structure without traditional surgery.

not custom mRNA vaccine meh~
Immunotherapy using mRNA vaccine for pancreatic cancer is in clinical trial now. It is meant for therapeutic, meaning for those who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the mRNA vaccine is designed based on the details of the tumour.

Sg hospitals including Mount E, CGH and SGH also provide this cryoabalation method of cancer treatment . Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital is the pioneer for this method of cancer treatment.

Power.

For cases where this can be applied, I can see how this would be much prefered over surgically cutting open a patient, then cutting out a lump of flesh and dealing with the bleeding and blood vessels.

mrna tech is the last mile thing. solid tumors have mass and they must be removed. surgery is till necessary to excise and remove these clumps of dedifferentiated cells

As the needle is placed inside the core of tumour, it will destroy the tumour rather than the healthy surrounding cells. The main objective is to kill off tumour with minimal injury to normal cells.

This cryoabalation method does not require surgery. It is just a small hole for the needle to go to the tumour. So it is less invasive than surgical removal of tumour. Once the tumour is destroyed by the freezing temp of -160oC, it is not harmful anymore. The body will take care of the dead cells.

If prostate cancer how? The balls turned into ice marbles?

Cryoabalation can be applied to prostate cancer. No need to freeze the whole balls, just the tumour only. Some types of tumour are not easy to be removed by surgery, then this needle with freezing mrthod will be easier to perform.

the cryoablation zone is divided into the central and the edge zone. in the central zone, tumor cells undergo coagulative necrosis. the body will take care of these dead cells. in the sublethal temperature zone at the edge of the ablation, tumor cells undergo apoptosis. unlike necrotic cells, apoptotic cells in the marginal area not only fail to stimulate an immune response but can also induce immune tolerance. so cryoablation is not going to remove the tumor completely

How come mainstream news haven't report?
The modern cryoabalation method started in the 1960s. It has been around long time already. I also don't understand why chemotherapy was often the chosen method fir treatment which eventually failed to save cancer patients.
