i googled the abv topic and it seems late 2010 MBP can take up to 16g. Anyone has any personal experience?
If it's possible, and if cost effective, i am thinking of bumping up my current 8gb while waiting for next year's model.
thoughts pls. tks

i presume you currently have only 4gb?
if you are waiting for next year model, it seem like a waste to upgrade the ram now.

I think you meant Mid-2010....

Mactracker says can support upto 16gb, apple only supports upto 8gb.

I'm on 8GB, with SSD. Sufficient for photoshop & my editing tools. :)
