There is marking on the floor. Lane 1 can turn to Lane 1 and 2. Lane 2 has to turn to Lane 3. When there is marking to guide you, you have to follow marking.

For me when i turn usually just follow the car in front. Did the car in front of the qashqai turn to lane 2 or 3?
