1k Build

Am planning to build a gaming PC for exactly or less than 1k for a friend. Have put together the configuration below but I've been out of touch with the scene for awhile so would like some advice

Will be used for Overwatch/LoL/Dota at 1080p but preferably good for the next 3 years + with minimum upgrades

CPU + MOBO: ASROCK B250M-HDV + i5 7400 - $344 (Tradepac)
GPU: Zotac 1050ti Mini - $231 (Carousell)
SSD: WD Blue M.2 SSD 500GB - $235 (Qoo10)
PSU + CASE: COOLERMASTER N200 + FSP HEXA 550W - $113 (Tradepac)
RAM: 8GB Kingston DDR4 - $87 (Tradepac)

Total would come up to $1010, before use of any Qoo10 coupons.

Would like to get the system by next weekend, do advice

Also do not mind 2nd hand parts as long as they last

Gpu cheaper at qoo10. Sold by Firdouse. $231, apply shop coupon $10, apply cart coupon $20, $201 in total.

RAM can talk their price down. It's $85 on PCT. It shouldn't be 87 there. Tell them you will take it if $83.

Tecware F3 $49 SRP. FSP Hexa+ 450W is $59 SRP. Total is $108. Can push their price to $40 for casing, $50 for psu.

I hope the $235 M.2 you can find some voucher to make it cheaper.

BTW, you haven't add OS. Suggest you scavenge it at Carousell too.

CPU either go for Ryzen 5 1600 or G4560 if not enough budget imo. More value for money.

GPU 1050Ti is decent but with regard to wanting it to last for 3 years it most probably won't be able to play games 3 years from now well. If you can find 1060 3GB at decent price its better value, also probably won't last 3 years though haha. Now GPU bad timing to buy, prices are high, but if you need then bo bian lor

SSD get a smaller one for OS/Games, other programs install on HDD can save some money (120GB SSD + 1TB HDD)

2nd hand parts, you never know. See heng suay, make sure have warranty remaining.

Bought zotac 1050ti mini on lazada, $217.50, used fuzzie $200. Therefore $117.50. Good if you can hunt around for fuzzie vouchers
