Not entirely true.

The stock fan that comes with it to me yes at full load may be audible. But idle no.

in a simple layman terms...
fan is loud becoz AMD overcorked the cpu
which in turn decreased the lifespan of the cpu
while Intel dun overclocked @ all and yes u can also overcorked the Intel if u wan to
