1st time pc building : GPU shopping

Hi guys I need help and advise on pc building as its my first time. I have read plenty of forums on pc building but the part on parts shopping kinda worries me.

This is my targeted built:
CPU : I5-6600K
Mobo : Gigabyte z170mx-gaming 5
Ssd: samsung evo 850 250gb
Hdd: WD Caviar blue 1TB
PSU : Thermallake 550w gold +
Ram: Hyper x savage 2X8GB
CASE: Masterbox lite 3
Case fans: x2 blademaster ?
Gpu : gtx 1070

My aim is to get most parts from SLS, but i see opportunities in cutting cost by purchasing some parts in amazon such as the GPU. And here's the question: buying from amazon, which brand should i buy in case of a rma ? As i have read plenty of forums regarding rma which the user have to either ship back to amazon or directly to the manufacturer country.
Second question is does international warranty from brands like ASUS, do local distrubtors service them like ban leong ? As i also read about local distrubtors rejected as its not bought locally.

I hope anyone should shine some light on my questions

get EVGA, as they allow u to send to Taiwan for RMA and they have good customers service support.

other brands definitely have to ship out to the product country of origin purchase.

Amazon iirc only allows it within 30 days or less. after that is manufacture warranty.

get evga if you fancy the chance of getting one shipped to you without thermal pads on voltage regulator module, which may cause your vram to overheat

i highly recommend palit gtx 1070 super jetstream. good price, temp, build.
take note of that it is a 2.5 slot card.

any but gigabyte gpu; their pcb design is crap.
