Going in mid Mar 2016. 2 persons. 4D3N.

Target to go Railway Market and Amphawa Floating Market. Other things we like would be makan (esp seafood) and shopping. Is it possible to slot in some other interesting places?

Heard the railway market is closed till 8 Nov. Is the train running now?

Any hotel recommendation?

Thanks in advance for helping.

Railway market the train will not be in operation till early January, provided no further delay. Suggest you spend a night stay at Amphawa.

With only 4 days, seen impossible to add on any other places except the usual sight seeing (namely Grand Palace, Asiatique etc) ,shopping and makan at BKK.

p/s Amphawa only opens from Friday to Sunday.

Googled for day tour from hotel to railway market and then to floating market. Most cost a whopping 3000b!!! May be I kuku. Go to those chop carrot website. Can share your contact for 700b? Thanks.

Intend to bunk in at Shanghai Mansion. It is near Chinatown where we can find yummy food. We are foodies, so eat, eat and eat. Anyone has experience this hotel? Or any other better recommendation? Thanks.
