Ya they roll out updates now and then. When u buy the windows most probably is with the latest service pack else when u do auto update it shld download and install for u

with regards to which is the best mobo.. i m not sure.

as for graphic card, i think let the other bros here reco you better cox i not tt sure which can play high graphic game like BF3 and such cox i nvr play it..

Not worth that $20 topup for that extra 0.2 increase in clock speed.

If i'm not wrong, Windows 7 OEM is tag to your motherboard upon installation. As long as you are using back the same motherboard, you can keep reusing the license key.

What do you mean by .Bootmgr is missing? As in you weren't able to boot up your new PC and this error message pops up?

Yes HGST is Hitachi. After they were bought over by Western Digital. If I'm not mistaken it stands for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.

If i'm not wrong, Windows 7 OEM is tag to your motherboard upon installation. As long as you are using back the same motherboard, you can keep reusing the license key.

Actually got some loophole in the activation of windows. Can called up microsoft to do a manual activate. Can activate using some numbers they provided or can talk to the cso to activate also. Give some reasons such as change motherboard or what.

Yeah I heard about it. But you can tell them you upgrade your motherboard right? Because if it is upgrading, you need to get a new OEM license as it can only be used once. So must be smart, "smoke" them.

Actually i did told them i change motherboard, didn't say upgrade. I remember i used more than once before i have to call them to activate. I used it on 4 mobos le. Once on my older Sandy Bridge Biostar mobo, 2 MSI Ivy Bridge board and 1 more biostar H61 board for my family HTPC.

But now only HTPC using windows 7, my own desktop is windows 8. My windows 8 only can install and activate once. But mine is the promo sale buy one, dunno abt windows 8 OEM from SLS. Nv try yet.
