I assume guys flying in and out of Tokyo?
7D6N is probably just enough for Tokyo area, if you want to add in Osaka/Kyoto, then it's going to be really rushed.
I think it's gonna be just after sakura season, so here is what I would suggest if you guys still want to go ahead to Tokyo + Osaka/Kyoto:
Day 1: Arrival at Tokyo. Stay at Osaka.
1100hr arrive Narita Airport.
1100-1200hr clear immigration, collect luggage, go JR office to exchange JR pass, make Shinkansen seat reservations.
1219-1314hr Take the Narita Express train from Narita Airport to Tokyo station.
1333-1630hr Take the Shinkansen Hikari from Tokyo station to Shin-Osaka station.
1630hr onwards, check in hotel and then explore Osaka's Shinsaibashi + Dotonbori area. If you have time, you can go check out Tokyu Hands store near Shinsaibashi area, and there's a Daiso and Don Quijote store near the Dotonbori canal area. Don Quijote is the building with the large yellow unused Ferris Wheel on top of the building along the Dotonbori canal.
Day 2: Kyoto. Stay at Osaka.
0830 Arrive at Kyoto station, go Tourist info office to buy a 1day Kyoto bus pass at 500yen.
(More info + bus map:
Kyoto City Web / Access / Public transport in Kyoto)
0900-0930 Bus ride from Kyoto station to the bus stop nearest to Kiyomizudera.
0930-1100 Stroll thru the street walking upslope towards Kiyomizudera. Visit Kiyomizudera.
1100-1230 Find lunch, then walk thru Higashiyama, towards Maruyama-koen.
1230-1330 Visit Maruyama-koen. Hopefully you can still catch the ending of the sakura season.
1345-1415 Take bus to Ginkakuji
1430-1515 Visit Ginkakuji
1545-1615 Take bus to Shijo Kawaramachi
1630-1730 Visit Nishiki market
1800 onwards, either find dinner at Kyoto or go back Osaka area to find dinner.
Day 3: Osaka. Stay at Osaka.
Option A: Spend the day at Universal Studios
Option B: Morning go Nissin Cup Noodle museum to customize your own cup noodles (near Ikeda station), then after that go either Osaka castle or Aquarium, and then go Umeda area or Shinsaibashi area for shopping and food.
Day 4: Osaka to Tokyo. Stay at Tokyo
Early morning Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo. Then head to hotel to deposit luggage. Go Sensoji Shrine in Asakusa, then to Skytree, then go Odaiba.
Day 5: Tokyo. Stay at Tokyo
Go Harajuku, Omotesando, then Shibuya.
Day 6: Tokyo. Stay at Tokyo.
Go Disneysea (don't go Disneyland/Disneysea on a weekend, gonna be even more crowded).
Day 7: Tokyo. Fly back from Narita on 10am flight.
Take Narita Express to Narita Airport.
Get the JR 7day pass (28300yen, you have to buy this when you are in Singapore) to cover your day 1 to day 7 for Shinkansen rides, Narita Express train, and other JR line trains. Yes 28300yen is kinda expensive, but this railpass will pay off for your itinerary since you will be using the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka then back to Tokyo.
