Hi all,

can anyone recommend 2.0 speakers for PC use?
Mainly for movies and gaming.

The reason i am using 2.0 speakers because i got no space for the sub woofer. (unless the sub woofer is longitudinal)

Budget around $200-$250.

Bose companion 2 series III. Less than S$190 now. One of the best 2.0.

Erm, No. The companion 2 is a better buy than the 20.

Better buy, yes. Better value, not sure, since after a while u might be itching for an upgrade in audio quality. Coming from soneone who has the Bose Companion 2 Series III, Bose Companion 20 and Bose Companion 5 lying ard in the house.

For your budget, may I recommend Mackies CR3 ($168) or CR4 ($252) sir?

City Music having promotion for those pricings mentioned until end of the month. In terms of audio quality, u will have to go down audition it for yourself.

Coz u have yet to come across other speakers around that price range that sound better than the Companion 2? Just wait for that poison:s13:
:s13:

Btw, I'm not the one using the Bose speakers in the house, just sayin. The Companion 2 spoiled after 2 years (control knob issue), Atlas quoted quite a lot for the repairs.

Have, but unlike you, it's not a need or a want for me.
