2.5" Hard disk enclosure

Hi,

Would like to find out if Sim Lim sells hard disk enclosure?

I've got a laptop which the motherboard spoil lioa. Unable to boot into the bios. But the harddisk is still working. So want to make it into an external hard disk.

Does anyone knows which shops sells the hard disk enclosure? Only enclosure.

First remove hdd from laptop to check if interface is sata or ide, then head to SLS.

A lot shops sell 2.5" HDD enclosures, just depends on what brand or function you need... Century, ICY DOCK they all have IDE+SATA external enclosure products

what is the cheapest 2.5" sata enclosure sold in sim lim square? i saw the hwz pricelist, ranging from $20-$40. but many people say $10 can get 1, is this true?

No brand USB2.0 can be as low as $10. Whether can last or not is another thing? Best to get an aluminum casing for heat dissipation.

Must take out the hard disk from your notebook to confirm because I did remeber there was a time when HP notebook their hard disk connector is proprietary type - not ide or sata type.

I got see Challenger sell Astone HDD enclosure but couldn't remember the type or series..Will the Astone aluminium casing give shock? Cause I got a aluminium 3.5 HDD case always shock me one when i touch it

Previously I saw at Clementi mall's challenger got sell astone enclosure with the pouch for 15.90 (member price)..but not sure whether it is the same type as you looking for bo..but yesterday went back there thinking to hoot it, unfortunately I couldn't find it liao..maybe sold out liao or what i duno ar..
