currently using a old casing for my 2.5" IDE portable Hard Disk tt requires a power port and mini usb port to read hdd, at times i think its not drawing enough power, can hear the spinning sound from hdd

is it still possible to just buy an new ide casing with just micro/mini usb connection, no need the power port?

The USB3.0 ones are usually pretty powerful enough.

Its plug & play
I don’t think is driver issue
It’s detected, but not enough power to run the drive
