[ 2.5K Budget for New Rig ]

i'm wondering if any one could recommend me on setting up a rig that's about 2.5k prefer i7 6700 & Zotac 1080. amount is purely for rig.

hope to run games like BF1 without lag.

If it's just the 6700 without the K I think u could even aim to hit below 2k, though I really like the Asus aura Mother boards so you could also check them out

Hahaha I'm like a rare guest in this section. Got 10 over years I never diy totally lost touch with what's in what's out etc. Guess I will wait till after cny can have a better gauge on how much spare cash I have for the rig.

Looks okay. Try to find a support got your gpu. Zotac amp extreme is heavy and likely to sag over time which might damage your PCIE x16 slot.

Try avoiding Toshiba... Go for HGST if possible

Dont need "K" unless u plan to overclock.. as it consumes higher power as well..
