2 days in taichung

will be going taipei/taichung in june for 5D4N.
1st 2 night in taichung before going back to taipei.

already planned to go to the following places in day 1
rainbow village
lavender cottage
carton king
xinshe castle
fengjia night market

where should i go in taichung for the day 2?

You can try gaomei wetland , if u are into nature scene...

I think your Day 1 itinerary is quite packed. You also have to take into consideration the travelling time between places.

i agree! perhaps you could split them up? maybe visit fengjia night market and xinshe castle on the second day because like what he/she said, travelling time needs to be looked at too :)

might be of a bit of help that while in taipei, i got a private car charter off Klook that i paid about $100 est for 8 hours of charter all around taipei. remembered him telling me that he could drive out of taipei as well but we wanted to stay put so didnt take up that offer! however, i was then told by friends that there were a lot of car charters that you could contact via a whatsapp number but i didnt take it down! Wasn't too sure about safety!

Perhaps you could check out a charter so that you can plan your time around these locations easily! factoring in public transport timings might be a bit of a hassle and if you have some budget to spare, a car charter will be awesome :) enjoy your trip!
