currently having a old i3-4160 desktop and wanted to add a graphics card to it to play some game.

games that i am looking at is pubg lite and gta 5. saw on amazon that there is this XFX rx 570 4gb selling at about $190.

may i know if the card is alright or is there any other recommendations with budget within $200?

most of the cheap cards i see on amazon is used for mining so a bit scared to buy there.

If you are worried, buy from local co with local agent warranty best. Sim Lim can go down already so can just drop by.

Alternatively, buy refurbished set from Convergent which is local distro fr quite a few gfx brands. Only 1 week warranty though. Theres a palit gtx 590 for $200.

amazon has a few powercolor offerings for 570s and 580s and sold by amazon sg, for example this one: https://www.amazon.sg/PowerColor-AXRX-570-4GBD5-3DHD-OC/dp/B06ZYRRW9T. just over $200, and should be a brand new set, but rma may not be straightforward.
if u want local distro set with warranty go for 1650 super like the other bros said but u will have to stretch ur budget by another $50.
if comfortable with carou can find used 580s and 1070s for around $200 also, if not less and if lucky can get a decent condition set with some warranty left.
finally, if comfortable with taobao, ive seen sapphire/xfx rx580 8gb going for $180 for as good as new set. but also have to be careful to get the 2304sp variant, the 2048sp one is just basically a rebranded oc-ed rx570.

but u also have to check if ur psu has enough power to deliver up to 500w and has the required 8pin connector. sounds like it is an oem machine with proprietary connectors.

a dollar saved is a dollar earned is relevant you're trying to achieve maximum satisfaction for the purchased made.

You can try for a second hand Zotac GTX1070 be it a mining or non mining card. Best is 2028 onwards because Zotac changed their warranty from 2 + 3 years to 3 + 2 years. If the previous owner hasn't registered for warranty for the additional 2 years, at least you can still register to get that.

for Zotac, as long as within the first few years, depending on before 2018(2 years) or after 2018(3 years).

Usually miners don't care about it so gotta be extra careful on that.

Wah moi no idea!
But no warranty anytime can kaput.

That's why it's cheaper. :)

I recently sold my almost new RX 5500 XT for $200, only used for one day and with local warranty. There could be other deals available on Carousell etc but I noticed asking prices are quite high nowadays so second-hand may not make sense at the moment.
