I know Prudential has some 20-25 year savings / endowment, pretty sure most insurance companies have such plans too for your type of purpose. But yep like this guy said, really depends on how many years you have left to retirement & how long a payout you want.

200 a month, 2400 a year.

give you 20 years with average yield of 4%pa, you probably get about 70-80k.

do you think its enough with your CPF? how do u expect to retire?

but its still a good start to look at one financial health.
If there is any plan which can beat this return, then is worth considering, is there any, hahaha

PruGolden Income?

2,294.24/Yr till age 50, start receiving payouts from age 55. Payouts will last till age 70, avg payout is about $6549/Year.

Or our new PruWealth,
2,400.00/Yr for 20 years, will allow you to draw $3600/Yr for 22 yrs, and 32k lump sum at the end of 22 years.

You can customize the payout as you need, or leave with us to accumulate further. You can also withdraw as a lump sum if you wish to, or both a payout and a lump sum.

if something happen to u inside 20 years then how?

Depends on the policy u get. If there is a sum assured then it will be paid to your family. If there is no sum assured then most like is slightly more than your premium paid. This depends on the policy.

Can the plan with an average yield of 4% p.a. fight inflation rate over the 20 years?

Average is not equals to assured. If your money is going to be locked up for 20 years might as well invest in some equity/bond etf.
