$2000 DIY Gaming Rig

Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase a new gaming rig with a $2000 budget and was hoping you guys can share some recommended builds. I have a coolermaster rc-130 blue atx tower chasis from current CPU but not sure if it can be "reused".

Monitor, keyboard and mouse can be listed as optional as i have not decided to reuse my current ones.

Will be using it for gaming, web surfing and watching videos/movies.

No idea how to DIY so I would appreciate if you guys can also share how much it usually cost for the shop to build the rig.

Games that I'll be playing are Rift, Borderlands, Crysis, Dota, Lichdom Battlemage, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor...etc

The only game that will be a little harder to run is SoM.

970 should pull between 60-70fps lock rate.

It may not need 600w. But definitely with slightly more headroom will be great if one does not want the psu fan to spin harder to create more noise.
