2014 Mac Mini and apple wireless Keyboard pairing

just collected my new Mac mini and have not been able to pair the new wireless kb to it
Apart from using a wired kb, are there any other ways to pair it wirelessly?
I keep getting blink green light in the kb when the startup screen prompts me to power on the kb. Nothing happens.

Any advice?

its on bluetooth right

if still got problem try other brand... if fail means mac mini bluetooth got issue?
