LG C7 Motion handling

Hi

It's almost 6 months with a C7 and now find judder/stuttering is almost unbearable. What's the latest setting to minimise it? Netflix specially looking like a slide show. \\

Apart from this - very happy with the purchase.

There's lot of info on the net but nothing really works. Much appreciate if you could share your settings for motion for Daytime/Night time and Movie/Video settings for motion.

Real Cinema and TrueMotion.

Thanks

Many thanks for the reply.

It's a nicely done video. I tried setting True Motion to 2 and 0 - not perfect but I guess it will have to do. Hard to tell if the strobe effect is because of 24hz or judder.

It would be good if we can property calibrate the screen - pretty sure the white balance is off. Little greenish/yellow heavy on my set.

need some advice on the LG OLED...

1. yesterday i was at Harvey, they push me to buy LG B8S, which claimed to be the latest and made in Korea vs. the OLED C8. But when I read the spec it seems C8 is the latest model? are they trying to pull a fast one?

2. The sales also told me to buy a sound bar as he said the sound on this TV is no good, is it true? I am not a big fan for audio, decent one is fine no need cinema surround sound kind. Do you recommend to buy the sound bar?

Thank you!

B8 is using a slightly lower grade image processor. the 8-series are all current model. Still a very capable OLED tv

If you do not have a large room to fill, go audition the yamaha YAS-108. built in subwoofer in the bar, so no woofer box. sounds decent and cheap.
has HDMI ARC and bluetooth. can wall mount or lay it on your console.
i'm using it. decent enough for me.

I suggest you get the soundbar or a separate speaker system. The built-in speakers are really rubbish. I connect my TV to my PC and can hear the difference very clearly. Even my 2.1 PC speakers are much better. Sometimes I accidentally switch the audio and thought my pc speaker cables were loose or something. That's how bad it is (to me at least).

Did you try to calibrate the sound using the TV remote?
