Also, snagged another budget 55 inch, 55UH650 at 1099 too!

Netflix 4k using ethernet is not smooth..

Streaming ~40GB movie files from laptop by Ethernet ok 4 me.

No issues with Ethernet streaming 4K, since I'm using local Netflix. I think the bottleneck is not so much wi-if or cat5 but,more on your cable provider bandwidth and where your Netflix server is.

Just came back from Audio House.
They have this discount voucher of $20 for every $100 spend.
They offer the set at $2,988, therefore the voucher can apply for the 2nd set thus getting the 55C7T for about $2,700 each. (less the free TV gift)
That is, if there are 2 members in this forum can gang up for it.
Go and check it up the store at Boon Keng.

I would give audio house a miss.. There are many who can get 2.7k and below.. I myself got at 2.7k 3mths back after selling off all free gifts. Try best denki.. Recent there are few who got good deals from them

Thanks, I will try at other BD, target to get value out of whatever offer.
I know other branches have different focus on brands as below.
Was at BD in IMM tonight, however their offer of the C7T was not great at $2900 because LG now includes a sound box (not bar) MRP of $599 less the trade in free TV.
They instead tried to promote Q8F and the Sony 900XE I think, cannot remember all the offer.
Looks like they are not keen to offer C7T, saying that only benefit of the C7T is the design but cannot beat the quality of the other 2 brands.

It allows only max 100 mbps.
Have to use either CAT5-E or CAT6 for up to 1Gigabytes.
Have tested this condition in my home, therefore change all my cable to CAT5-E.

You are probably right.

The bottleneck would be the controller, however it provides a stable signal compared to wifi.

Though the AC wifi will provide a higher rate in this case.

Hi, Got the brochure today.
In the TV panel
1) Select Netflix promotion on Wedge banner.
2) Access My Content and find Netflix promotion.
3) Move to LG Content Store to install Netflix Apps.
4)Sign up or LogIn to Netflix promotion page to get a 3-month gift coupon.
These were steps printed on the brochure.
Do let us know whether it works as stated.

Hi, so far my checking the price difference between the 65" and 55" is $1.3K, therefore a new set should be about $4K vs $2.7K.
New set will also get free gifts whereas display set normally does not have the standard free gifts.

Have to double check again as I was focus on the 55" and briefly enquired on the 65" at multiple retailers. Sorry if I got your hope high on this.
I remembered it was 1.3K difference and found it difficult to swallow or did I mixed up with the SJ850T which I was also checking up on.
