I was quoted LG 55C7 at $2,799 & comes with free upgraded bracket, bluetooth speaker and a digital decoder. Venue: Megastore
Checked for the same model at Best Denki, quoted $3,499 & comes with free 49" tv. If dont want free gift, deduct $600 = $2,899 in total, comes with upgraded bracket too

Actually $2,599 is a good price.

By the way, the price I got is from Mega Discount Store. Not from Courts. They have outlets in Kallang and Thompson. Apologies for any confusion.

Still pondering about the purchase. Cos I dont need the free gifts. Maybe will head to Courts to check out the price too.

how did you folks get $2599.

I was at courts jem this evening.
55"C7 + SJ8 = $2998
55"C7 = $3099
55"SJ850T = $2150

Can anyone recommend a sales person who quoted you $2599 for 55"C7?
Thanks in advance.

LMAO. With soundbar cheaper than without soundbar. that's weird but good at the same time. Who is the sales person? I might be interested in this.

What a lemon LG OLED!

I bought the OLED Tv in mid August and 3 months later there were issues with it (there were vertical black and green lines on the screen like dead pixels. but it got worse and now TV cannot be turned on) and now it failed! I question the reliability of your product which can fail in just 3 months. Apparently, I am not the only one. Having encouraged my friend to also buy the same model of tv, his tv failed in just 2 weeks (same problem with vertical lines). He was lucky to get a replacement set and I thin that is the right thing to do.

As for me, I am also annoyed by the fact that the repair service is somehow lacking in customer service. Your call centre is good although I think better follow up action can be done to inform customer regularly on the status of the repair. I asked for a repair service to be conducted onsite scheduled on 18 Nov but instead I received a phone call on that morning and was speaking to a technician. So an onsite repair became a remote repair where I just briefly described the issues with the TV and he said I have to wait for 2 weeks for the parts to be indented. I am fine with this mode of repair so long the technician knows what he is doing and have the expertise to do so. Not an issue. However, 2 weeks later, I had to follow-up with another call to your service centre to enquire about the status only to find out that I have to wait till mid of december for the parts (which is not even confirmed at this moment). This then brings the whole waiting period to a month or even more. My big question is does LG expect customer who spent $5000+ for a tv which is supposed to be one of the best model from LG to go without TV for a month? I have never come across such service standard!

The lesson I learnt is never to buy from LG ever again. I advise against buying LG products. The TV is a lemon and I cannot accept your standard of repair service.

Ouch.

Your experience hopefully is a one off unlucky event.
