Yes bro haha. Now I really feel like doing the same thing and going back to my Pixel 2! :s22:

Do you mind sharing the reddit link to this? I tried to search but couldn't find anything related to this problem.

If i recall I've seen mention of this issue with samsung phone before too. Looks like you are even "luckier" than me. :s22:

Indeed lucky haha. Seems that a visit to CDTI is in order. :s13:

It's just happening with the Pixel 3 right? The Pixel 3 XL no issue?

Not too sure, but I know my previous Samsung panel phones were pretty much perfect. If you ask me it's definitely L fu*kng G's shitty panels.

Something gotta do with LG display. Same thing happening with the mate 20 pro. 3XL should be safe.

3XL hardware wise I think most are just complaining about the speakers? Imbalance output and distortion at low volumes i think.

I believe MKBHD has that screen issue with his XL too, but I don't think the Samsung screen issues are nearly as common as LG displays.

haha. Yeah. I believe samsung is just better and more experienced at making AMOLED screens at this point, so the majority of their panels looks good. I remember in the past also got some issues with their screens, like uneven tint being one. My 6P had uneven tint too, had to replace it. But even then, I don't believe they were ever as unreliable as LG is these days. Like last year Pixel 2 XL. This year they seem to improve the image quality of the screen, but the reliability and quality control... :s22:

For MKBHD, he did mention that he dropped the phone on the podcast with Joe Rogan. Then after that he posted about that issue. Maybe the drop damaged the screen. haha.

It is already 10 days past the official retail date and still the white pixel 3 XL seems to be out of stock. Maybe Google underestimated the demand greatly? I went to check Google stores around the world online and it seems the white pixel 3 xl are all delayed by days or weeks. Was the delay this bad also when the pixel 2 was launched? How long did it take for the panda pixel 2 to finally have stocks? Anyone knows?

Last year the Pixel 2 was not officially sold here.

Only Pixel 2 XL. But if you are asking about the P2XL, nope things werent that bad last year compared to this year. Phones were released for pre-orders as early as 14th & 15th nov and on 16th nov available at Singtel stores.

Last year also dont recall having oos for the black color. Only panda color got limited stocks during pre-order and launch.

Those using pixel 3xl, when u using the speaker from the phone, do you feel lots of vibration while holding it? And do you feel the sound feels very mono?

Previously I was using lg v20 and other Android phones. I won't feel any vibration when playing through speaker while holding it. I would start to feel a bit numb while holding when playing speaker

I feel that the sound from the speaker is quite "dull" compare to my previous lg v20.

Can give us your review after some testing? I think this app, Pixel Pulse, strikes a good balance between having Always On Display and not being able to know that there's unread notifications.

Trying to squeeze every bit out of the battery before running with pixel pulse. Almost 7 hr SOT! No restricted apps too.

This issue was mentioned in some of the reviews. When you crank up the volume of the phone, you'll tend to feel the phone vibrate.

Not just taking on the phone. Even watch YouTube can feel the vibration on the back. The glass back suffers from an air gap and flexes in. This may also seems why sound vibration/distortion when playing back at maximum volume.

Google is telling everyone to switch to dark mode to conserve battery.

1. Enable dark mode
2. Enable dark themes
3. Switch to night mode in your google maps.

Should be able to squeeze more battery out of your battery life.

And one more, turn on Night Light. Protect the eyes and save some battery life at the same time at night. Haha

You referring to night light (which changes the colour tone) or grayscale? I actually prefer to use grayscale at night. It makes reading much easier and also reminds me that I shouldn't be looking at my phone.
