This is intended. The brightness scale is logarithmic instead of linear now. It's a recent change by Google.

Alright thank you!

Anyway just to check, will the battery gets better over time?

Looks like my 15-16 Nov delivery date not working out...delay is enroute..

Just switched to this phone from iphone x. Is it my phone or the display brightness is quite dim? The brightness is set to 70% most of the time.

Like someone who have already replied you on this. Its normal. Google uses a logarithmic increase instead of linear. So the brightness increase from say e.g. 20% to 30% is not the same as 70% to 80%.

Maybe if you have adaptive battery on, it might learn your usage pattern and consume lesser battery from some apps and services

Google really screwed everyone who pre-ordered. Giving YouTubers / Influencers free phones (some may not even like Android), while we use our hard-earned money to pay, just to receive notice after notices our purchases are getting delay. Worse still, the bank charge a cross-border or currency exchange fee.

Applicable to SG store?

no idea. most likely us store only.

[waikiki]

so fast got discount for p3 and p3xl liao.

Wow I don't mind buying from u.s store just like my pixel 2. With the BF and CM discounts, I could get non-XL and XL at usd650 and usd700 after applying my usd100 Google store credit from my P2 purchase last year. Very tempting indeed.

Haha I agree with you on point 1 bro. But what to do? They have millions of subscribers that they can reach out to with one video while on the other hand, we throw money to try and get the phone but we can probably only reach our family and colleagues haha
