Compared to pixel 2 price:
Pixel 2 64gb/128gb
$650/$750

Pixel 2 XL
$850/$950

Overall the price similar to iphone xs. They jump the pricing for the smaller version so much. Dont know what they thinking. And they dare to include a big notch

the closest match is with apple, not oppo, so if the pattern persists we wont have a teardrop on 2019 pixel

the general theory is that the first pixel came out in 2016 and had a slight resemblance to the iphone 6s but nobody cared because iphone clone designs are fairly common, but from that year onwards, every time apple did a radical/controversial move, google would coincidentally do the same a year later:

2016 iphone 7 - removal of headphone jack
2017 pixel 2 - removal of headphone jack

2017 iphone x - screen notch
2018 pixel 3 - screen notch

2018 iphone (all 3 models) - removal of fingerprint reader
2019 pixel 4 (?) - my guess is that google will follow suit

Xr srp is 1228 only for 128Gb.

can wait a few weeks after launch maybe shops will sell lesser than srp or those recon sets are abit cheaper.
