I think it is also worth to take note that iirc the original pre order offer that singtel gave for free pixel stand is when users pre order with also either the x3 or x4 data add-on.

I am using a pixel 2 xl. I dont have the pixel 3 xl yet.

But i compared the screen estate of the pixel 2 xl and pixel 3 xl by putting two screens together. It is identical. Basically from the top speaker grail of the pixel 2 xl, you draw two lines down on the current bezel, its the pixel 3 xl with notch.

There are slight differences in dimensions on specifications though for both phones.

Received my pixel 3 today from another seller who re-contract from Singtel - pixel stand came together w the phone. Screen test was alright, no obvious pink - green tint shift unless looking top down at the phone.

Trying out the portrait mode and was weird - anyone unable to find the option to adjust the background blur?

I see reviews already and tested for myself at the demo sets at singtel.

The scratches arent really scratches. They are just residual left on the pixel 3 xl rear surface instead of real scratches. You can just rub them off.

See what happens when those youtubers anyhow jump to review without full facts. The videos afterwards that debunk those false claims dont reach the correct audience

Unless he test night sight and other features that the pixel 3 has which the pixel 2 doesnt yet.

After taking the picture in portrait mode, go view the picture and bottom should have 5 buttons. Press the 2nd one from left. Adjust 'depth'?

Pixel 2XL user as well. Are you on the fence to change to P3XL? I am because Singtel gave me option to recontract every year. I am just thinking whether the top up (sell P2XL and buy P3XL) is worth it or not.

I have been following the pixel 3 news but the lure isnt strong enough to force me to make a small upgrade since my pixel 2 xl is working well for me still.

The screen of pixel 3 xl i saw at singtel looks great. I like the smooth coating of the pixel 3 xl rear too. But that is just about it..

No plans of upgrading for now i guess.

Not sure if this info will help anyone here, but I made a call to the dreaded Singtel helpline to ask about 2 things:

1. To see if I can collect my Pixel 3 today instead of waiting for it to be delivered to my selected POPStation on 3 Nov. The CSO told me no can do as my order is already in the logistics process of shipping. Then again, I expected that, was just trying my luck.

2. I asked about that Pixel Stand, as I didn't receive any SMS or email confirming that I'd get it. I was told that from his end, my order info stated that the Pixel Stand will be included together with my Pixel 3 in the POPStation.

Now to see how I fare in the Pixel 3 screen lottery..

Google Play services maybe updating in the background. Once updated, your apps & games will update.

You will see two photos after using Portrait mode. Chose the right photo and tap the adjust icon. If only one photo. You will see Pop instead.

On the next screen, choose the adjust icon and you will see Depth. Slide to adjust. Tap the down arrow to adjust blur.
