I noticed that the Tasker use quite a bit of battery power, more than leaving the WiFi on.

It doesn't work very well and I don't know why.

Tasker works very well for me in turning WiFi on/off automatically! It also doesn't drain any noticeable amount of battery; it doesn't even appear in the battery settings!

Tasker can use a variety of methods to pinpoint your location. Use the "Cell Near" one (basically using Cell Towers to locate your position) because the other methods, esp those using GPS, can drain quite a bit of battery.

If you're gunning for XL, you're pretty safe. If it's the regular Pixel 3, forget it. You're better off buying locally. Unless you don't mind uneven screen tint.

XL no hardware issues so far? MKBHD seems to have a dead screen after a few days.

I upgraded from Pixel 2 XL. The Pixel 3 XL screen is really really way better which kinds of is a big deal cause you will always look at the screen. Other than that everything else feels exactly the same.

I use an app called nacho notch to hide the notch. So not bothered by it at all while waiting for Google to implement a more elegant way if hiding that notch.

That's the problem with YouTubers. They mention different things on different social networks. Thus, if one only follows him on YouTube for example, they won't know that he dropped his phone which is why the screen went dead.

he didn't said he dropped it after posting the picture on twitter, until ppl caught him dropping the phone, then he clarified saying that ya, he dropped it but it didn't happened immediately

I find that the pixel 2 XL screen isnt that bad afterall after using it for a year.

Just simply blue tint when viewed at angle isnt that problematic as the serious screen issues the pixel 3 might have.

Of course I must also admit the pixel 3 xl screen is definitely nicer than the pixel 2 xl. But not strong enough justification for me to upgrade I guess.

I dont doubt that his pixel 2 XL lags. But who knows what he did to the phone compared to mine that doesnt lag after a year now

Hahah that's why they always get free phones no matter what they say because they can reach tons of ppl.

I would think that MKBHD is still pretty decent. UAC and tldtoday is total bullocks. Sometimes the picture or video quality sucks like crazy they can still say until got dragon got Phoenix. I don't know is their eyes got problem or the pocket got something extra for them to say that.
