i know this may sound stupid, but this is my first android phone that the battery is unable to remove.

i'm worry about the battery life span as previously i was using LG v20, i had bought spare battery as the first battery life became lousy as it goes.

for charging of my phone, i should not charge pass 100% if i wish to have a better life span for my battery right?

always maintain between around 20 to 90%? and don't let the battery died/flat right?

buzzing voice? no idea what are you referring but i don't have any issue. just didn't like the way it sound only compared to LG v20.
it sounds more mono to me. Google need to work on their sound system compare to LG.

i prefer listening to spotify on lg v20 than pixel 3xl
I tot it happened to all the pixel 3 xl user.

yeap, that's why i say google need to work on their sound system. it's the first time im experience a phone that has lots of vibration even when it's playing at like 30% through loudspeaker.

and i feel their sound is quite mono. quite disappointing for me.

even when im using earpiece, it sounds soso to me as well.

Ehhh i always charge my phones overnight. Smartphones with removable battery has been a norm for quite some time and I don't think charging pass 100% should pose any worry to you.

What happened to all pixel 3XL users is the back of the phone vibrating when playing on loud volumes. I don't think there's any buzzing issue.

what i'm worrying is that lifespan of the battery. removable battery i still got extra battery to spare.

but with pixel, you can't change the battery but only can charge via portable. i rather carry extra battery compare to portable charger. hence i'm trying to ensure the lifespan of the battery is well maintain.

i'm not sure if keep charging 100% overnight will cause the battery to drain faster when using it

For those who purchase from Google Store SG and incurred "Dynamic Currency Conversion" for your purchase, may I know how did you resolve this?

I have emailed Google Store support for their reply, but till today no answer at all. So much so for being the early adopters: pre-ordered on 13th Oct but shipment delayed, only to received my set on 16th Nov. Missed out on the Black Friday discount, getting charged "extra" for a local purchase. Getting screwed big time by Google.

Use Amex card no DCC.

Only other way is for your bank to waive the DCC charges on Goodwill

Set screen to max brightness.

Select a black wallpaper, the corners machiam light leaks?

Select a gray wallpaper, do you see horizontal lines across the screen?

It's not really light leak since it's an AMOLED screen, they have their own light source, don't use backlight. This one is the crushed blacks that have been around since the first Pixel. :s13:

What's happening here is that the top part is supposed to have a slight white inner glow? But because the display is crushing the blacks, instead of showing a nice gradient of greys, it becomes what you see. haha.

You can try using like nova launcher, which doesn't have that slight gradient at the top.

Hmm okay lah to be fair I change phones every few months to a year so this is not really one of my top concerns. But charging overnight since last week until now I have been getting like 6-7 SOT almost everyday.

Ending the day with 10-15% left. So I think it's pretty okay. Not draining faster or whatnot.

I have the same on my Pixel 3 (non XL) but yeah I think it is okay, if you change the background it disappears.

Ya pixel 3 still got crushed blacks if set brightness to low...
