excatly, more RAM doesnt mean its faster or better. I mean how fast they want their phone to be, apps restart then just reload the app lo.. hahah

Actually, it depends on what you mean by "faster". If you have more RAM available for apps to use, like 8gb RAM, more commonly used apps will load faster. It really depends on what you referring to.

hmm what i meant was like for example i happened to see some youtube videos where by the person will launch an app at the same time on 2 phones and see which app on the phone loads faster. However the difference is only 0.1 millisecond which is not a big difference at allthis is what i mean by "faster"

But I like the new layout. And looks like they are preparing for a dark mode also. Since new design is all white, so it's easier for them to switch to dark.

Difficulty detecting wifi

Anyone have issues with wifi connectivity? Everytime I come home, my pixel 3 xl doesn''t seem to be able to detect my home wifi. Need to forget network and detect again, automatic detection is turned on to no avail.

Any advice is appreciated.

WiFi scanning is turn on? Settings > security & location > location > advance > scanning

Have you tried reset network settings? Settings > system > advance > reset options > reset WiFi, mobile & bluetooth

nope.. you could try reset your network configuration on phone.

Mobile data is also being reset in this option, what does that do?

Verdict on usability on temps under -40, phone is usable, no auto shutdown, but battery drains fast, probably half of what you get normally

think the apn setting will be deleted, but no worry, it will be automatically created when sim card detected after the phone restarted.

That's normal. My DSLR battery life also halved when I go cold countries.
