After Bui Kim gets what he wants then see what happens..

NK doesn't exactly has a good reputation of keeping to the bargain.

Anyway one thing I am pretty certain is that everything is a no-go if he does not get to stay in power and maintain his god-like status in NK. And that god-like status can only continue if NK people continue to live in a highly controlled propaganda environment...

So go figure how much progress could realistically be achieved...

North, South Korea agree to goal of 'complete denuclearisation' of Korean peninsula

EOUL: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in signed a declaration on Friday (Apr 27) agreeing to work for the "complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula".

At their first summit in more than a decade, the two sides announced they would seek an agreement to establish "permanent" and "solid" peace on the peninsula.

The declaration included promises to pursue military arms reduction, cease "hostile acts", turn their fortified border into a "peace zone", and seek multilateral talks with other countries, such as the United States.

"The nuclear freeze that has already been put in place by the North has a very significant meaning," Moon said after the summit. "It will be an important step towards complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula."

Both sides will also seek a permanent end to the Korean War they said, 65 years after the hostilities ended in an armistice, rather than a peace treaty.

The two Koreas will seek meetings with the US and possibly China - both of them parties to the ceasefire - "with a view to declaring an end to the War and establishing a permanent and solid peace regime", they said in a joint statement.

Moon and Kim also embraced warmly after signing a statement in which they declared "there will be no more war on the Korean Peninsula".

SEOUL: It was a moment the world had been waiting for - Kim Jong Un on Friday (Apr 27) stepped over the border that divides the two Koreas, becoming the first North Korean leader to set foot in the South since the Korean War ended 65 years ago.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in stood ready to welcome him. Everything had been carefully planned and rehearsed but Kim went off-script when he invited his southern counterpart to join him over the border.

Grabbing his hand, Kim led Moon over to the northern side briefly, before crossing back to the south, still hand-in-hand.

Later in the afternoon, after planting a tree and watering it with water from rivers in the South and North, the two leaders walked into a small glen along the border for their private tete-a-tete as the sun set..
