2018 Mac Mini Display Screen

Which monitor to get for the new Mac Mini? I did some searching and see that Dell is quite popular although some have reported various issues such as vertical lines and taking a long time to wake up.

I selected LG 22/24 inch MK430H but they are without built-in speakers.
Basically I require the monitor to be:

• Max 24 inch
• 1080p IPS with Free Sync
• Built-in speakers
• Above average response time - maybe 5ms? Not sure about this
• Budget about $300 preferably less

I will be using Mac Mini for media consumption and some light video and Photoshop/Lightroom processing, and Diablo.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Monitor built-in speaker is of lousy quality.

Why not just add a Bluetooth speaker? Or just use the 3.5mm Jack and a cheap powered Creative/etc speaker. Beat any monitor speaker.

LG MK430H has headphone out for speaker, it probably will work when using HDMI.

if you have to use it for photo editing it would be better to choose monitor with 100% sRGB becaue it has accurate color.

I've used and tested used many Dell monitors over the last decade. Don't really have much issues with them.
They are quality monitors for the price.
For photo editing, if you have the budget, maybe consider the U2717D

Where do you buy your Dell monitor from? Their website doesn't seem to have to model I'm looking for. Lazada sellers seem dodgy - people saying they received used items or things missing.

I always buy from the Dell website as prices not very different from other online sellers.
