They have a XS series. This iPhone 12 is a redesign so no S naming.

Neither the 11 have a 'S' also. I think from now Apple might just go without it, so next year will be 13, then in 2022 will be 14, etc.

Apple could launch a 11S if they wanted to, but since a re-design together with 5G integration, they just did a 12.
