Totally agree. Best to wait for 983 next to DTL, if wait at blk 180, very hard to board at peak hours. Even at late night after 10 pm, still a lot of people boarding. They another shuttle without passing the ITE

last election CCK was 41%, got a chance to improve. And with their minister suddenly ported to punggol and came TSL, I really not sure how residents in CCK gona vote.

cck residents need to wake up. always vote for incumbent but the estate in general quite slummy, cck central only has one coffee shop and 3/4 cui food courts to serve the residents. facilities in general are quite poor as well. at least last year or so can boast got DPM but now no more.

stronghold grc got no rewards de. at least strong oppo areas got free bus, care fridge, caregiver funds, multiple MRT lines (more likely cos airport in the east lol but still), a whole plan dedicated to your grc name etc

Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong’s move from Chua Chu Kang GRC to Punggol GRC has surprised many Chua Chu Kang residents, including ambulance driver Mara Kottaisamy.

The 53-year-old Keat Hong resident asked: “Why (did) he run away from Chua Chu Kang? He likes to mingle with the elderly here. He is our favourite, but Punggol GRC is full of youngsters. Will they respect him there?”

Another resident, Ms Wari, a 49-year-old delivery rider, said DPM Gan’s departure is a pity as he is a familiar face to seniors in the area.

Meanwhile, some residents welcomed Manpower Minister Tan See Leng’s move to Chua Chu Kang GRC.

Freelance designer Alex Tan, 62, said he is fond of Dr Tan’s Cantonese quip in Parliament in March. The long-time Teck Whye resident said Dr Tan must now connect with the seniors there.
