i can install telegram, singpass with sms verification but whatsapp just keeps sending the verification to the old phone even with the sim card in the new one

Refresh my memory... It send verification to old phone.. U can take the code key into new phone to verify and activate?

His original CN rom cant, which might. But iphone shouldnt be that hard once he swapped out his sim.

im just assuming, because for my x200u vivo, it was CN rom, and i had to go through some hoops for the whatsapp as well, not like this activation but less problematic. no huge.

but if its local to local, then might be something else

Hi, need some advice

I bought my 17 Ultra Leitzphone during pre- order & only have time to set it up now

After unboxing, I realised there's a speck of dirt or something on the screen... (see pics)

I tried cleaning it off but it can't... is there a default screen protector installed already? If so, I suspect it's underneath it, or the protector is scratches?

Any advice? Should just bring to service centre?

By default, there should be preapplied screen protector.

From the photo, looks like there is one. Try taking that out.

By right new phone after enter phone number, old phone need to authorize. So verification is done on the old phone. Correct ma.

Can you feel it with your nails? If yes just peel it off and inspect your screen again

She's neutral to it. Her criteria is must 1tb + large battery + cost ok. Then she she look at ultra battery and says she don't need that 1 inch. I just hope can manage her expectations setting up.

Actually for china ROM with Google svc installed, can I just setup my account like normal and transfer my Google contacts and apps over from existing phone. I understand account data might not all be transferred. Or I have to down app by app on china ROM phone

Went into the Xiaomi store (in Beijing) and placed a RMB100 deposit for the 17 Max. Money will be refunded if we decide not to get it. The store assistant was nice enough to show us the dummy set. They have stocks in the store ready for sale. The launch will be tomorrow 7pm. She told us the price will be around RMB4xxx.

We went to another Xiaomi store over the weekend and was told the 17 Max will cost RMB4999.

The government is giving some kind of subsidy for getting mobile devices (including tablet). If we are getting the 17 Max, the subsidy is RMB500.
