based on what i read above, M5 Pro 48/64GB is more ideal!
more RAM the better, can never be underestimated...

If running AI, I’d suggest going for one that can run up to 25-30B parameter models with some room to spare for caching. 48 or 64GB is a nice sweet spot.

if you are running multiple models, a database or doing coding at the same time, 64GB would be a minimum.

I don't plan for local LLMs. I am still going to use cloud

Personally I find 64GB too chor for me… 48GB just nice in terms of cost and spec tradeoff
Yes. I am leaning 48GB. I do run multiple instances of development tools. Less likely to run local LLMs
