Using a LG 25UM58 ultrawide but having the following very occasional problems:

1. Chrome shows some static-like blocks of horizontal bands, but then it recovers when I move the window around.

2. Occasionally Excel shows left-most columns get hidden - have to reopen file to see them again.

I only see this problem in the above software. Other heavily used software like Firefox, games like TF2 shows no problem.

Is it likely to be a software problem (bad rendering for ultrawide) or could it be hardware e.g - RAM o/c? Anyone face similar issues? Any input appreciated TIA!

excel issue can zoom in and out, no need reopen. Use rtm or latest version, no issue.

chrome happens to me too on full screen, but I usually use half of the screen in windowed mode so no issue

Try do a clear cmos and test @ stock settings to see if it's your
