240gb SSD Recommendation

Hi all, can you advise what ssd to get?

I have these 3 in mind.
Sandisk plus 240gb - 3yr warranty, $109
Samsung 850Evo 250gb- 5yr warranty, $120
PNY Cs1331 240gb - 3yr warranty, $99
OCZ Trion 150 240gb - 3yr warranty, $98

Im using it for a spare laptop. So doesn't need to be very good.
heard sandisk always die after bout a year?

Samsung Evo is preferred for laptop (if can afford), best power sipping SSD

out of curiosity i did a test between my evo ssd, toshiba 7200rpm hdd and crucial mx300 ssd.

hdd xfer to either ssd is around 145Mbps. evo xfer to crucial is 470Mbps but when crucial xfer to evo, it is only around250-300Mbps.

can i safely say evo is good for reading and not writing regarding the case of slow xfer from crucial to evo? but can it be crucial is lousy in reading that's why writing on evo it is only 250-300Mbps?

Avoid sandisk plus UNLESS at the barcode got (SDSSDA-240G-G26) That indicates older version using MLC has 3x higher endurance. All budget SSD now using TLC.

Trion and PNY about the same (better than Sandisk plus in terms of speed) But PNY comes with arconis software.

If you plan to use 5 years, then buy Samsung. But I doubt the longer warranty is useful.
