I think a policy wouldn't be able to suit mass market, if one can attain the minimum sum , actually I feel that the interests rate is quite good @ 3.75 - 4.25 % per annum with no risk and pays out for life although need to re-calculate the break even point and everything even suay suay die early, the annuity balance will also be bequeathed to stipulated nominee if there's any left .

Some say last decade not reasonable.

Some say $1.2k per month where got enough to survive.

Some just want more payout per month yet don't want to have more kept at CPF.

Some think $2.5k is greedy, while other rather to keep up with inflation and let the 4% SA out beat the inflation rate.

I say meet the prevailing $161000 in SA now, close the book, hibernate and be oblivious to the noise from the outside world.

The $161000 in SA in today's dolallrs will be encapsulated, trapped in time, but ready to thaw, expand and release to the outside world in time to come.

I am sure ALL want to have a choice take out all at 55 or leave what they want in CPF.

definitely not all. majority maybe, but not ALL. especially those who have loved ones around them who have $0 in both CPF and bank accounts and see how those people suffer around them and sometimes even have to fork out money to help these people.

Lots people are unable to meet the min sum, hence the complaints. some of them are genuine cases, while some of them are those who overcommit on housing or buy a lot of stocks and lost $$$... but the genuine cases are more of the older generation

if everyone was able to meet the min sum easily, wont have as much complaints (cant ever have no complaints, right ?:s22: )

True. Let the complaints carry on. Hopefully, God hears and answers their plight.
