256GB Iphone

Hi all

If I like to backup 2 iPhones, each of 256gb capticity, does it mean I neeed to have a laptop of at least 1TB space?

This Is assuming both of my phones are near 256gB capacity.

Would prefer not to use iCloud.

Or you can backup your iPhone via iTunes to an external hard disk.

The only downsides is the slower read and write speeds and time taken if you wanna backup or restore it.
