If price diff not a lot, which is most cases, then go for the higher capacity.

Last time (10 yrs ago) I also think, aiya need more than 32GB for what? I don't even think I'd ever fill it up before phone spoil, won't even need SD card.

Fast forward 2 years after, just my music library alone is 32GB, all lossless tracks, and all on my 64GB SD card.

512GB, Android. Be it Apple or Android. Now there is no expandable memory options for flagships. Camera megapixels are getting higher, file size are getting higher. And we do more things, documents, videos on the go, so go for higher storage.

You will regret a few months down the road when you get 256GB

5 year old apple 512gb. Bought for prawn farm on phone because that time seldom can go prawning on pc anymore. But my next upgrade I’m contemplating 256gb because prawning websites nowadays are fast with hd videos and lots of variety.

The more GB u have , the more junk u keep.

But the less GB u have, the more time u spend doing housekeeping & think 2x 3x when want to install new apps. And nowadays , many apps to download.

Actually this is true. More storage = more junk. You end up keeping so many copy of the same photo/video because you think that storage is not an issue. Also very difficult to search when you have mountain of files.

E.g. you took many shot for the same scenery. Usually I just filter it straight and keep 1 or 2 photo then delete the the rest. Some people just keep it all, i know many girl do this.
