27" 1440p monitors recommendations

Currently looking at the dell ultra sharp models. Comex good place to hoot?


Does gsync or 144hz really matter?

I rarely play FPS games. Mostly space sim games.

Go through shopback.sg, enter courts from there and purchase. You will get 1.4% rebate which is redeemable after 2 months. Min of $10.

The s27d850t stand is much more sturdier than the dell u2715h.

I can vouch for that. Cause it is using the same stand for the bigger brother s32d850t.

And yes 1.07b vs 16m.

my experience with monitors is that samsung hardly ever lasts anything more than 3 years. of cos some ppl might differ, but that is just what i've gotten so far. dell on the other hand is outstanding and backed by 5 years warranty

Well. My current cheapo 22 inch Samsung monitor lasted 5yrs. Still going strong. But I'm concern with warranty as well for a 600 plus purchase, how many yrs warranty does the Samsung model offer? Is 1.07b vs 16m a big difference to the eye?

Most of the shops there were selling 949 after discount. But courts are selling at 899. Got mine today from there.

Roy, just to double confirm with you, if i want to wall mount, i need to remove the cover before i can remove the stand, correct?

Once i install the wall mount bracket, can i still put back the cover or will it be blocked ?

Cannot. Must remove the cover. Cant put back. Put back = cant mount.

The purpose of the cover is to cover the ugly vesa mount. If people wanna vesa mount they will need to remove the rounded cover. Once mount also cant see le.
