280x or not?

Due to its price, everyone is getting it. But it seems there's a lot of drivers problem going on now. Cooling system and oc for various brands is it good enough? Is it worth to get this gpu or stick nvidia?

Actually I did not encounter any major card stability/driver problems so far after testing both the 270X and 280X cards. Also gamed quite many hours on BF4 SP and Batman AO, other than game software issues the cards are quite solid performers.

Do read widely and deeply across multiple forum feedback and threads (not just here), seems quite a few "driver problems" may possibly be borderline hardware binning at work since some owners say downclocking those affected cards reduces/solve the "driver" issues. Some cards and some batches may just better made or better binned than others, not all 280X cards are of the same quality.

Personally using MSI 280X at Ultra Setting in BF4.. Nv encounter any black screen or issues. Game play very smooth. 280X vs 770GTX price diff of $150, I take Amd card any time, unless they drop to low emd $4xx..Quite impossible.
If need the card now, juz buy & enjoy..No point waiting for months for price to drop that little $1-20
