2k 1440p pc build recommendation

I might consider lowering my expectations and go for a 7700 with a 5070 Ti, if that combo fits within my budget. Honestly, any upgrade would be a huge leap from my current setup. Do you think 2K SGD is a decent budget, or would it be better to stretch it to 2.5K? For context, I don’t plan to upgrade every 2–3 years, more of the type to use the PC for as long as it lasts.

theres no lowering of expectations by using nonx3d cpu. 5070ti is good can max out 1440p.

As long as you stick to 1440p, you shouldnt need and upgrade

based on this game listing and of your high refresh rate monitor what is your expectation on fps ?

I’d like to hit at least 100+ FPS consistently in most of the games I play, ideally on high or ultra settings at 1440p. It’s understandable if it dips a bit for heavier AAA titles, but most of the time I’m playing lighter or indie games like Ready or Not, Phasmophobia, repo etc

in this case 7700 is good for your budget

yea, I did try putting the parts into PCPartPicker and manually priced each component based on a few price lists provided on HWZ. It seems to be a bit more expensive.


oh i never thought of doing this, should give it a try. worst case they just ignore my messages.

u just ask and compare around see who gives u the best pricing if u worried about aftershock builds or invaderpc

i did some calculations if i were to build my own 7800x3d+9070xt, should be around 2k
but half the parts bought from taobao except for gpu as china market gpu pricing no difference from sg

but Doom dark ages the 5070ti lost out terribly to 9070XT despite being the more expensive card by a few hundred dollars tho~
