I am wondering if the warranty for a laptop is still applicable if an MSi laptop is sold to another person. Does the name on the receipt matter, or will the name of the person registering the laptop matter instead?

But the warranty hasn't been registered yet. So should still be able to register under my own name right

the name doesn't matter if its for personal use.

unless the laptop was initially bought under a company's name or a school's name... then that matters
